Dorothy Thomas

Dorothy Bradburn Thomas, 101, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Frederick, Maryland. Born on September 14, 1909 in Summit Mills, Pennsylvania. Daughter of the late Austin and Hannah Miller of Summit Mills, PA.

She is survived by her only daughter Alysann Bradburn Staup and son in-law Thomas P. Staup of Frederick, MD and two grandchildren, Joseph Bradburn Staup of Myersville, MD and Rebecah Staup Daggett of New Market, MD. Three great-grandchildren, Hannah V. Shepherd, Peter R. Shepherd and Jamie N. Staup. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph M. Bradburn and second husband Austin C. Thomas.

A memorial service will be held in her home town of Meyersdale, PA in April and interment at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
