David Bryan Thompson

Mr. David Bryan Thompson 45, of Walkersville, died on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the Georgetown University Hospital. He was the husband of Christine Johnson Thompson. Born in Washington, DC, on March 29, 1965, he was a son of Bryan Thompson, of Silver Spring and Marion Weber Thompson, of Smithsburg. David was a craftsman working in the solid surfaces industry and woodworking. His hobby was building fine furniture. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents is a step daughter, Kelly C. Bradshaw and fianc, Todd Drury, of Walkersville, two sisters, Kathy Spinks, of Cascade and Sondra Rowe, of Smithsburg, grandson, Aiden Michael Drury and his aunt, Carole Osburn. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Rev. Dr. James S. Flora, will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick Rescue Mission, 419 West South Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
