Robert A. &Quot;Bobby&Quot; Wahl

Mr. Robert Alan "Bobby" Wahl, 50, of New Market, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born March 15, 1961 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Samuel and Eva Culler Wahl.

Bobby was a veteran of the U.S. Army and spent most of his tour in Germany. Having served his time in the military, he worked as a bricklayer in the construction industry.

He was an avid reader who greatly enjoyed the outdoors. Bobby loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, and enjoyed the company of his dog.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Daniel Wahl and his wife, Sharon; Teresa Webb; Rose McMurdo and her husband, Daniel; and Richard Wahl, Sr., and wife, Amy; and his sister-in-law, Sherry Wahl.

In addition, Bobby leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Roxanne Fritz, Christina Wahl, Ryan Webb, Eva Webb, Nicole Webb, Kurtz Wahl, Kathy Thompson, Tracey Carr, Chris Wahl, Jr., Kevin Wahl, Julie Suthard, Jesse McMurdo, Carissa Wahl, and Richard Wahl, Jr.; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He will be remembered by his dog, Leroy.

He was predeceased by his sister, Julia Wahl; his brothers, David Wahl, Steven Wahl, and Chris Wahl, Sr.; a sister-in-law, Sheri Wahl; a brother-in-law, Gary Webb; and a niece, Crystal Jane Wahl.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church (Feagaville), 5463 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. A memorial service for Bobby will begin at 2 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Kenneth E. Gill, Jr.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Frederick County Humane Society, 217 West Patrick Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
