Mrs. Mary Margaret (Linck) Webber, 85, of Brunswick, died Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harold A. Webber, Sr.

Born on March 6, 1926, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Albert S. and Lilly G. (Wickless) Linck.

Mrs. Webber was very active at St. Joseph's on Carrollton Manor and St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. She was awarded the Medal of Honor from the Archdioces of Baltimore in 1998. She won the John Dreessen volunteer of the year award. She was a member of the Eagles Club and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Brunswick. She was active in the Senior Center of Brunswick. In her spare time, she was an avid bingo player and cook.

She is survived by her son, Harold A. "Bubby" Webber Jr. and wife Sheila of Jefferson, daughter, Gloria J. Rohrer of Frederick, six grandchildren, Valerie Roosa, Shawn Rohrer, Leonard "Rusty" Webber Jr., Vickie Green, Samantha Jenkins and Pastor Veronica Webber, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Leonard E. Webber Sr., sisters, Anna Feaster and Laura Handley.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. Deacon P. Gregory Rauch and Deacon Jaime Garcia will officiate. Interment will be at Knoxville Reformed Cemetery, Knoxville.

Those desiring memorial contributions may be shared with St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, St. Joseph's on Carrollton Manor or the Knoxville Reformed Cemetery.
