Michael Erwin Saunders

December 7, 1960 — February 8, 2012

Michael Erwin Saunders age 51 of Alexandria Va. Passed away Wednesday February 8th in his home. Michael had worked in the field of Information Technology for many years, most recently at Acentia co. of Falls Church Va. Michael was the son of the late Joan(nee Galloway) and Erwin Saunders. Michael is survived by siblings, Stacy of Dallas, Texas and Brian of Oak Park Illinois, sister-in-law Holly and nieces Eva, Olivia, Ella and nephew Owen, also of Oak Park. He leaves an extended family of Aunts, Uncles and cousins who were an important part of his life. Michael's profound love of travel sustained him and led him to explore numerous European cities such as Vienna, Paris, and Firenze. Over the years he captured many beautiful images of his travels, which clearly showed his love for various cultures .He leaves the world a better place for the remembrances of the people and places he had seen. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday February 14th following a visitation from 4-7 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
