Kathryn Rousseau Dietrich

Mrs. Kathryn "Kitty" Rousseau Dietrich, 86, formerly a resident of Sarasota, FL for 26 years, passed away February 9, 2012 at Buckingham's Choice in Adamstown, MD. She was married to the late Robert C. Dietrich for 62 years until his death in November, 2007. Born July 12, 1925 in Hancock, MI, she was the daughter of the late Edward G. Rousseau and Margaret Shea Rousseau. She is preceded in death by her three sisters: Marie Farmer, Kitty Rowe, and Dot Giroux. Kitty is survived by her four children: Chuck Dietrich (wife Pat) of West Chester, PA; Mary Steggert (husband Bob) of Frederick, MD; Dot Masters (husband Tony) of Sydney, Australia; and Gretchen Dietrich (husband Monty Paret) of Salt Lake City, UT; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at 1pm at Saint Joseph-on-Carrollton-Manor Catholic Church, 5843 Manor Woods Road, Frederick, MD 21703. Father Lawrence Frazier will officiate. Arrangements have been made by Keeney & Basford Funeral Home. Her final resting place will be with her late husband in Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
