Mrs. Miriam Conner, 85, of Frederick, died Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Guild Purcel Conner, who passed away in 1994. Born on May 10, 1926, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Forrest Delenay and Clara Virginia (Fagen) Haugh. Mrs. Conner was a graduate of Frederick High School. She attended Hood College and received a nursing degree from John Hopkins Nursing School. Throughout her working years, she was a registered nurse and then a loving mother of her four children. She is survived by her daughters, Clara Haugh Conner and husband Dan Stanton, Phyllis Conner Zagrobelny and husband James and Miriam Forrest Conner, son, Christopher Guild Conner and wife Caroline, granddaughters, Christine Miriam Zagrobelny and Ellen Margaret Zagrobelny, brother-in-law, Murray Faupel, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Faupel. The service and interment will be private.
