Mrs. Maude Alberta Hill, 84, of Lewistown died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Clifford G. Hill. Born June 25, 1927 in Burkittsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Maude Harriett Stup Ahalt. Mrs. Hill worked as a technician in the electronics field. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Parsley and husband, Thomas, of Myersville, and Linda Lea Dykstra of Margate, Fla.; two brothers, George Ahalt and wife, Jane, of Myersville, and Norman Ahalt and wife, Dorothy, of Frederick; a sister, Virginia Sullivan of Minnesota; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her first husband, William B. Phillips; her son, William Bryant Phillips, Jr.; a son-in-law, Dennis Dykstra; and siblings, Raymond Ahalt and wife, Ida; Harry S. Ahalt, and wife, Frances; Katherine Sharrer and husband, Donald; Julia Pearl Pennington and husband, James;Ruby Blevins and brother-in-law, Jerry Sullivan. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 27 from the funeral home chapel with visitation one hour prior to services. Officiating will be Rev. David Howell of St. John's Lutheran Church, Myersville. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Serving as bearers will be Kevin Snoots, Eddie Lowe, Mike Ahalt, Christopher Geary, Robert Ahalt and John Sharrer. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, P.O.
