Joseph Paul Kozloski

April 28, 1983 — May 5, 2012

Joseph Paul "Joey" Kozloski, 29, of Frederick, died on May 5, 2012. Born on April 28, 1983 in Frederick, he was the son of Robert Paul Kozloski and Nancy J. Kozloski. Joey was a good-natured person with a very big heart. He was very quick witted and would lighten the mood wherever he went. He liked sports, especially basketball and the Philadelphia Eagles. Joey enjoyed cooking and was a very caring and giving person. He had an unforgettable smile and eyes that would brighten up the room. He loved his dog, Weber and will be missed by all those who knew him. In addition to his parents, Joey is survived by his sisters Jennifer Kozloski of Exton, PA and Alison Kozloski and her fiance Joshua Rafter of Baltimore, grandparents Florence Kozloski and Anne Ruzga both of New Jersey, Uncles Ray Kozloski, Paul Ruzga, Frank Ruzga and Aunt Paula Swetley. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Peter Kozloski and Frank Ruzga. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 1:30 PM at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick.
