Mr. LeRoy Elwood "Snook" Rodgers, 80, of Frederick, died Friday, May 25, 2012 at Glade Valley Center, Walkersville. He was the husband of Jo Anne (Grossnickle) Rodgers. Born on March 27, 1932, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Clarence J. and Addie (Miller) Rodgers. He graduated from Frederick High School Class of 1950. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping and old cars. He loved spending time with his family and he will be sorely missed by his granddog, Bandit. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Kelley Ramsburg and fiance Nicholas Cardy, son, Troy Rodgers, grandsons, Jason Ramsburg and fiance Tonya Schwab, Jeffrey Ramsburg and Nicholas Rodgers, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Geneva Sheets and husband Clifford and brother, Clarence Rodgers, Jr. and wife Lillian. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm, on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will held at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. Rev. Harry C. Cole will officiate. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glade Valley Center, 56 West Frederick Street, Walkersville, MD 21793 or to the Bettie Jane Cancer Foundation, P.O.
