Kevin John Gradoni

December 28, 1990 — May 28, 2012

Kevin John Gradoni, aged 21, of Frederick, passed away at home surrounded by his family on the morning of Monday, May 28th, 2012. He was diagnosed with stage four esophageal cancer in March of this year. Kevin was born on December 28th, 1990, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Kimberly Sines Gradoni and Richard John Gradoni. Kevin was scheduled to graduate from the Challenges Program at Gov. Thomas Johnson High School next week. He enjoyed Walt Disney World and Disney movies, trips to the ocean, and car rides with his Dad. In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his elder brother, Mark; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Sines, of Frederick; his paternal grandparents, John and Marilyn Gradoni, of Loudonville, NY.; aunts and uncles, Cindy Sines and special friend Robert Goode, of Hagerstown, Karen McCann and husband David of Mt. Airy, Sheila Sawicki and husband Edward of Loudonville, NY, and Robert Gradoni and wife Mary of Schenectady, NY; and numerous cousins. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Francis Louise Sines of Frederick, and his paternal cousin, Ryan Joseph McCann of Mount Airy. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 1 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 10 AM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
