Mrs. Pamela Anne Mackley, age 56 of Sabillasville went to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of James Calvin Mackley who she married on June 22, 1974. Born on January 21, 1956 in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Nancy J. (Smith) Rodig. Pamela loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Frederick. She was a 1973 graduate of Thomas Johnson High School. She worked as a CNA at Frederick Memorial Hospital, Vindobona Nursing Center, and was an assistant to Dr.'s P. Gregory Rausch and Brian M. O'Connor, as well as employment at a few other places. She loved traveling, particularly to Disney World and the beach. Most of all, she loved her family and they loved her. She was the loving mother of Julia Anne Smith and husband Thomas Alan, Jr., of the Sabillasville area and Abigail Jane Garcia and husband Benjamin S. of Chambersburg, PA, the grandmother of Breanne J. Mackley-Kelly, Riley J. and Mikah A. Smith and Gracie J. and Kyle B. Garcia. She is survived by her brother Charles A. Rodig, Jr. and wife Paula of Taneytown, and sister Victoria J. Hess and husband Bruce of Martinsburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many beloved friends. Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services are planned in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home for Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 11 AM. Rev. Harry C. Cole will officiate. The interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
