Mr. Robert Wayne "Bob" Keyser, 59, of Mt. Airy, MD, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in an automobile accident in York County, PA. He was the husband of Robin L. (Beall) Keyser for 40 years. Born December 10, 1952, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of Jackie Elizabeth (Kanode) Keyser and the late Ellis R. Keyser. Bob graduated from Governor Thomas Johnson High School in 1970. He attended Virginia Tech and Missouri Western State College receiving an Associates Degree in Mid-Management and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems. He was a purchasing manager at Gent-L-Kleen Products Inc., a subsidiary of Dreumex Corporation in York, PA. Also, he was priorly employed as a computer programmer for General Graphic Services. He collected and restored magic apparatus. He was a member of the Magic Collectors Association and International Brotherhood of Magicians, where he was awarded the Order of Merlin recognition. In addition, he was a 4-H leader in York County, PA, where he taught wood sciences. He enjoyed visiting parks and museums. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandson, Taylor. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Karen Keyser Cappeluti of York, PA, grandson, Taylor W. Cappeluti of York, PA, brothers, Allan B. Keyser and wife Ellen of Jefferson, MD, and Larry J. Keyser and wife Patricia "Pat" of Frederick, MD, sisters, Lori Ann Smith and husband William "Bo" of Frederick, MD, Janice L. Calhoun and husband Bryan of Hazle Township, PA and Angie D. Hahn and husband Steve of Sabillasville, MD, brother-in-law, Timothy W. Beall and wife Carol of Myersville, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm, on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will be at 10:00AM, on Monday, July 23, 2012, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. Rev. Paul Leatherman Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at the Upper Seneca Baptist Church Cemetery, Germantown.
