Mrs. Pauline Margaret Staley, 94, a lifelong resident of Frederick, Maryland, died Monday, August 6, 2012, at Northampton Manor. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Staley. Mrs. Staley was born in Frederick to Margaret R. Esterly and Lester H. Fogle, January 2, 1918. She was the last member of her immediate family. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Frederick, was employed at Rosenour's Department Store from 1941 to 1964, and retired from Frederick Bottled Gas Company in 1979. She was a woman of strong faith, an avid reader, valued the beauty of nature, and was a faithful friend to all. She was very devoted to her adopted families: Dennis and Judy Cromwell and family; John and Deanna Hinkel and family; Tony and Susie Miller and family. She is survived by one cousin, George Layman of Frederick. Arrangements are being handled by Keeney and Basford Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Brook Hill United Methodist Church, 8946 Indian Springs Road, Frederick, MD 21702. Pastor Dana Werts will officiate. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, Maryland. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Miller, Dennis Cromwell, Teague Moltere, Eric Moltere, Derek Cromwell and Glenn Staley.
