Claude Wayne (Stoney) Stone, age 65, of Brunswick went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was surrounded by his wife, daughters, special friends , and extended family members. Claude is survived by his loving wife Mary who he was married to for 43 years. Born on January 31, 1947, he was the son of the late Earl K. and Evelyn V. Allison Stone. Claude was a Jack of All Trades. He worked for Gene Remburg Enterprises, Craig Shoemaker Painting, Frederick Contractors, D. Bailey and Sons, and also Painting and Lawn Maintenance for himself. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, doing plaster crafts and baking. In addition to his wife, Mr. Stone is survived by his three daughters, Melissa Zimmerman of Keedysville, Doranda Stone and her fiancé Inocente Hernandez of Frederick, Sandra Wentzell of Williamsport, five grandchildren, Charles (Doug) Zimmerman of Keedysville, Ronald (Wayne) Beam and Joshua (Josh) Beam, both of Brunswick, Mary and Jody Wentzell, both of Clear Springs, and two great granddaughters, Abigail and Meleah Zimmerman of Sharpsburg, son-in-laws, Charles (Chuck) Zimmerman and Allan Wentzell. He was also survived by three brothers and one sister, Paul and Marion Stone, both of Hagerstown, James Stone and Beatrice Baugher of Frederick and numerous nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and special friends. He is predeceased by one brother Calvin Stone. Friends will be received on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 2 to 3 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701 where services will be held at 3 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated and memorial donations may be made in care of "Claude Stone" to the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, at the above address.
