Janet Marsh Bradstock, 63, of Frederick, died on Monday, August 13, 2012, at her home. Born in Kent, Ohio, on May 3, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Merle C. and Leah Kunsman Bradstock. She graduated from the Kent State University School in 1967 and Ashland College in 1971. She resided in Frederick Maryland since 1971. She retired as an elementary school teacher in the Frederick school system, where she had taught at South Frederick, Twin Ridge and Deer Crossing schools. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Frederick. In retirement she volunteered at Mission of Mercy, the Religious Coalition and went on several mission trips with Trinity United Methodist Church to Louisiana and West Virginia. She is survived by her sister Linda MacDougall of Lancaster, PA, nephew Prentice MacDougall also of Lancaster, The Rev. Matt MacDougall of Youngsvile PA and a great niece and a great nephew. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 705 W. Patrick Street, Frederick., with the family receiving friends one hour before. Pastor Lynn Wilson, will officiate. Light refreshments will follow the services. Interment will be held in Kent Ohio at a later date.
