Mrs. Catherine Alene (DeGrange) Wright, 78, of Frederick, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Northampton Manor. She was the wife of the late Donald B. Wright, who died in 1986. Born on July 4, 1934, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe E. Sr. and Olive S. (Wiles) DeGrange. Mrs. Wright was a seamstress in many sewing factories in Frederick. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Frederick and active in Elder Car. She is survided by her sisters, Lillian Anderson of Brunswick and Evelyn Hewitt and husband Buck of Frederick, brother, James A. DeGrange and wife Margaret of Middletown, PA, sister in laws Jackie DeGrange of Florida and Becky DeGrange of Frederick, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Roscoe E. DeGrange Sr. and Paul A. DeGrange. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, August 20, 2012, at the Salvation Army Church, 223 W. 5th Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Major Raymond Pruitt will officiate. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared to the Salvation Army, 223 W. 5th Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
