Theodore Eugene Miller

Mr. Theodore Eugene Miller, age 96 of Frederick, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Vindobona Nursing Center, Frederick. He was the husband for 69 years of Dorothy Eleanor Miller, age 93. Born on July 30, 1916 in Quebec, Canada he was the son of the late Mark Chester and Alice Eleanor (Rickard) Miller. Mr. Miller served in the Army during World War II. He was a medic in charge of wards of wounded returning by ship from the Atlantic Theater. Following his military service he was a life long teacher and administrator. He was a member of the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist Church, serving the church as an elder. Mr. Miller was the father of Cheryl Christine Miller-Arndt of Spokane, WA and Daryl Miller of Frederick. He was the grandfather of Brent Miller and his children Cyrus and Silvianna Miller, Mark Miller and his children Marshal and Malcomb Miller, and Brandon Miller. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 3 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market St., Frederick, MD 21701. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 4 PM at the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist Church, 6437 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. Pastor Joseph Damazo will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mr. Miller's name to the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist Secondary School at the above church address.
