Mrs. Mary Matilda Maust McGaha, age 75 of Frederick, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at NMS of Hagerstown. Born on May 2, 1937 in Somerset, PA, she was the daughter of the late Warren O. and Thelma Ruth Stutzman Maust. Mrs. McGaha was a 1955 Graduate of Berlin High School in Berlin, PA. She attended Frederick County Community College. She attended the Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Frederick. She is a 1992 retiree from COMSAT Corp in Clarksburg, MD after 20+ years of working there. In her free time, Mrs. McGaha enjoyed crocheting, making many blanckets for her family, loved NASCAR and was a member of Care Wear Volunteers. Mrs. McGaha is survived by one daughter, Penny McGaha and five sons, Benjamin H. McGaha and wife Beth, Frank E. McGaha and wife Lisa, M. Jeffrey McGaha and wife Kim, Barry L. McGaha, Sr., and R. Scott McGaha and Pam Boone, her six granddaughters, Sarah E. Roberts, Brandy R. McGaha, Shannon McGaha-Jones, Jessica M. McGaha, Tabitha E. McGaha, and Tessa McGaha Moats, and five grandsons, Benjamin H. McGaha, Joshua L. McGaha, Greggory E. McGaha, Barry L. McGaha, and Brody E. Stone and her numerous great-grandchildren. She is additionally survived by her three sisters, Nellie Wolk, Geneva Folk and Karen Stayrook, and four brothers James Stevenson, Frank Maust Blaine L. Maust and Melvin D. Maust and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. She is also survived by a special former daugther in law Sherri McGaha. She is proceeded in death by two sisters Audrey McColley and Shirley Maust and two brothers Warren J. Maust and Henry D. Maust. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market St., Frederick. Rev. Timothy S. May, Sr. will officiate.
