Clyde Edgar Adams

Mr. Clyde Edgar Adams, 87, of Frederick, died on Friday, August 31, 2012, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Summers Adams, who died on November 30, 2011. Born in Buckeystown on June 28, 1925, he was one of eight children, of the late David A. and Emily Cutsail Adams. Mr. Adams was a graduate of Frederick High School and a member of the Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church. For many years he was a dairy farmer in the Buckeystown area. After farming he drove a school bus for Frederick County Public Schools. Surviving is one daughter, Cynthia A. Fulk and husband Randy, of Frederick, one brother, Maynard Adams, of Rockville, one sister, Betty Duvall, of Frederick, and many nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by his care giver, Debbie Rippeon. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Helen Smith, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Centennial Memorial United Methodist Church, 8 West Second Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
