Mrs. Agatha Agnes Flook Lantz, 100, of Frederick, died Friday, October 12, 2012, at the Record Street Home, Frederick. She was the wife of the late Howard O. Flook and Clarence W. Lantz. Born October 22, 1911, in Frederick County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Leslie T. and Edna (Hutzell) Alexander. She is survived by her daughter, Jett Lorraine Pearce, step-son, Clarence "Bill" Lantz Jr., step-daughter, Annabelle Kemp, grandchildren, John Flook, Howard Flook III, Mark Flook, Molly Flook,, Milton Pearce, Valerie Grim, Jeffrey Pearce, Melinda Cool and Paul Pearce, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Howard O. Flook Jr., granddaughter, Catherine Flook. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. Rev. Kenneth R. Dunnington and Rev. Harry C. Cole will officiate. Interment will follow at Boonsboro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Record Street Home, 115 Record Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
