Grace Baier

October 15, 1926 — October 31, 2012

Grace McDonald Baier, 86, passed suddenly on October 31, 2012, surrounded by family members from as far away as Alaska. She passed from the loving arms of her family as a result of complications from a fall. Grace leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Edward J. Baier, daughter Grace C. Baier-Green and husband Chuck, son Edward M. Baier and wife Ellen. Grandchildren Gracie and husband Craig, Jonathan, Mary, Rebecca, David, Daniel and wife Emery, and Erica. Three great-grandchildren, including 3 month old Jack. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William and Grace McDonald who proceeded her in death along with her sister Rita M. Boynton. Grace loved life and adventure and was able to travel the world with her husband Ed while raising her beloved children Grace and Ed. The family will receive friends from 10-11am, on Friday, November 2, at Saint Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church, 118 E. Second St., Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am at the church. Interment will be at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA.
