David Parker Gudeman, Sr., 55, of Keedysville, Maryland, went to be with our Lord, November 12, 2012 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Victoria (Price) Gudeman for 23 years. Born March 24, 1957, in Cockeysville, he was the son of Calvin P. Gudeman and the late Rachel A. (Ady) Gudeman. David grew up in what was then rural Baltimore County but had made his home in Washington County for the last 14 years. David graduated from Dulaney High School Class of 1975. He worked as a Train Director for Amtrak for 32 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, the beach, traveling and renovating his home. David was a devoted father and husband who had strong spiritual faith and he will be dearly missed.. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his sons, David Gudeman Jr. and Calvin Gudeman, sisters, Barbara Amos and husband Leonard "Tiff" of Towson, MD, and Janis Jobe and husband Jeff of Jarrettsville, Also surviving are in-laws Jerry and Patricia Price of Toney, AL., and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm, on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, on Monday, November 19, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery, Keedysville. Rev. Bill Wyand will officiate.
