Mr. Clarence Daniel Ausherman, age 96 of Frederick passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at his residence. He was the loving husband of the late Margaret May (Dutrow) Ausherman who passed away on February 14, 1984. Born on August 13, 1916 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Ira and Della (Rice) Ausherman. Mr. Ausherman first worked for the railroad as a brakeman, later becoming a mason. He also worked as a farmer raising cattle and helped out the community as a handyman. When he had free time he enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Mr. Ausherman was the caring father of Robert D. Ausherman and wife Connie of North Carolina, Donald L. Ausherman, Sr. and wife Peggy of Walkersville, Kathy A. Ausherman of Frederick, and Bonnie M. Cregger and husband Larry of Walkersville; the pap of Tom, Mark, Ray, Heather, Becky, Don, Lisa, Danny, Timmy, Jeremy, Kenny, Jeff and Christopher; the great-grandfather of 20 and the great-great-grandfather of 4. He is also survived by his sister, Delores Harper and husband John of Massachusetts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his many brothers and sisters. Friends will be received on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at the Keeney & Basford P.A. Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where additional visitation time will be on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 10 until the service time at 11 AM. The interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
