Mrs. Naomi Marguerite (Hildebrand) McMurry, 86, of Frederick, died Saturday, November 24, 2012, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Luther Vincent McMurry, who died in 1962. Born on July 19, 1926, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Gladys (Orme) Hildebrand. She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Hodges and husband Michael, son, Louie McMurry and wife Sally, sisters, Mary Jane "Biggie" Wachter and Dorothy "Tiny" Troxell and husband Max, grandchildren, Keith Hodges and wife Marcelle, Glenn Hodges and wife Antoinette, Brian Hodges and wife Tara, Kevin Hodges and wife Katherine, Christopher McMurry, Jeremy McMurry and Benjamin McMurry, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and special friend, Nelson Trout. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Vincent McMurry and Michael McMurry. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11AM, on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 11:00AM. Rev. Daniel Hofmeister will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick.
