Michael Hale Sisson passed away November 26, 2012 at the age of 31 after a brief illness. He was born at Fort Hood, Texas and lived in San Francisco before coming to the Frederick area. Michael graduated in 1999 from St. John Catholic Prep and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After a tour of duty in the United States Army, Michael pursued a career in IT security working on government contracts including service at the White House. He lived and worked for the last three years in Hawaii. He is survived by his parents, George and Dinah Sisson of Middletown, MD and leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Kimiko Sisson and her mother Keiko Morales both of whom he loved greatly. He will be missed by three sisters Elisabeth Sisson (Frank Mayol), Laura Sisson, and Rebecca Benkovich (Joseph). In addition, he leaves behind his nephew Lorenzo, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. His laughter and light will always be with us. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 29 from 6-8 PM at Holy Family Catholic Community, 7321 Burkittsville Road, Middletown, Maryland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 30, at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Community, Rev. Msgr. Robert Jaskot officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to an educational fund for his daughter in care of Kimiko Sisson at Middletown Valley Bank.
