David Roy Raynie

April 29, 1962 — November 28, 2012

Mr. David Roy Raynie, 50, of Gaithersburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Suburban Hospital, Bethesda. Born on April 29, 1962 at Providence Hospital, Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Edward Lee Raynie and Kristin Amelia Helmold-Luhn. Although David struggled on a daily basis with complications from Diabetes, he still found joy from many hobbies and interests. David is survived by his sisters Catherine Gnatowsk and husband Dennis of Mount Airy, Maryland and Charlotte McKee of Virginia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Rachael, Adam, Grace and Andrew Gnatowski and Elijah McKee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 5, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick.
