Mrs. Judith Carol Wolfe, age 69 of Frederick, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Mr. Roland Wolfe who she married in 1967. Born on October 27, 1943 in Frederick she was the daughter of the late Russell and Theresa (Trail) Kidd. Mrs. Wolfe was a graduate of Frederick High School. She was a long time member of the Braddock Lutheran Church. She was very active with many church and other community activities. Mrs. Wolfe was primarily a homemaker however she also worked as a secretary for the family business. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling on bus trips and attending luncheons with her friends and spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wolfe is survived by her sons, Rodney Wolfe of Wolfsville and Michael Wolfe and his wife Sherri of Wolfsville, her grandchildren Justin and Adam, and her brother Gene Kidd and wife Roseanna of Frederick. She is predeceased by her siblings Douglas Kidd, Stanley Kidd, Joy Malany, Annamae Kidd, Virginia (Suzy) Cook and Shirley Kidd. She is additionally survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 2 to 5 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11 AM. Rev. Andrea Ernest will officiate. The interment will follow at the Clustered Spires Cemetery, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Braddock Lutheran Church, 6938 N. Clifton Rd., Frederick, MD 21702.
