David "Dave" Fulton, 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15th, at the Washington Hospital Center with family by his side. He was the loving husband of Candice Whitter Fulton, his wife of 36 years. Born, December 20th, 1953 in Frederick, he was the son of Evelyn P. Walters and the late David Franklin Fulton. Besides his wife and mother, Dave is survived by three children- daughter Melodie and husband Eric Foltz of Clear Spring, daughter Casey and husband Daren Crawford of Maugansville, and son David "Bud" Fulton and wife Kelli Fulton of Monrovia; five grandchildren Brooke and Gage Crawford, Ally and Noah Foltz, and Kadyn Fulton. He is also survived by siblings, brother Melvin "Gene" Fulton, brother Walter "Ricky" Fulton, sister Evelyn "TD" Beall, sister Sheila Scott; stepfather A. J. Walters and step-brother Norman Walters, step-sister Stephanie Everhart, and step-sister Pam Pipta. Dave is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dave worked at the Frederick News Post for 18 years in the Press Room, at R. F. Kline for 20 years as a heavy equipment mechanic; and 5 years at AccuBid before retiring due to health reasons. He especially enjoyed activities with his family, and going fishing, hunting and crabbing. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Wednesday, December 19, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, Maryland. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21, at 1 pm, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Dave Howell will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Ballenger Creek Pike, Point of Rocks, Maryland.
