Mrs. M. Constance "Connie" Moore, 87, of Frederick, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at Homewood at Crumland Farms. She was the wife of the late C. Casper Moore, Jr., who died on October 31, 2007. Born in Frederick, on November 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Louise Kennedy Keyser. Connie worked as a real estate agent for many years with Century 21 and Howard Kelly Real Estate. She was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. She also at one time was a member of the Westwinds Country Club and in 1945 she was Miss Peace in the WW II Victory Parade. Connie and Casper passion was traveling and playing golf through out the United States with their beloved golf friends and family. An annual family outing to Ocean City, MD, will long be remembered by all the children and many still carry on this tradition with their children. Surviving is her eight children, Denise Remavege and husband Tom, of Hagerstown, Terry Abshire, of Frederick, Colleen Lehmann and husband Rick, of Hagerstown, Laura Leatherman and husband John, of Myersville, Byron Moore and wife Karla, of Westminster, Anita Hurst and husband Stuart, of Purcellville , VA, Amy Moore, of Libertytown, and Beth Mashek, of Frederick, also surviving are 17 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Luana Moore, who died in January 2008. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., on Friday, December 28, 2012, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick.
