Lawrence Jack Entis, 69, of New Market, MD, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Goldberg) Entis. They had been happily married for 44 years. Born July 20, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the only son of the late Sidney and Esther (Atzer) Entis. He was a graduate of Temple University and was the founder and president of All Security-All Protection, Inc., a company he ran for over 28 years. Larry was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed the Eagles and Phillies. He also enjoyed antiquing, reading, biking, water volleyball, and golf. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and adoring grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by two loving children, Paul Entis, of Washington, D.C. and Amy Entis Gordon and husband, Scott Gordon, of Adamstown ; six devoted grandchildren, Madison, Zachary and Reed Young, all of Northampton, MA, Hyatt, Meritt and Beckett Gordon, all of Adamstown; one sister-in-law, Ann Goldberg, of Bethlehem, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Sunday, December 30th, 2012 at the Keeney and Basford P.A. Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD. Rabbi Dan Sikowitz, of Congregation Kol Ami, will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Congregation Kol Ami, P.O.
