Mrs. Mary Ann Doody Kolb, 75, of Frederick, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at her home. She was the wife of Thomas V. Kolb. Born in Frederick on July 29, 1937 she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Mildred Hull Doody. Mary Ann had worked at Routzahn's for several years and retired from Griffith Oil, in Frederick. She was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ and attended the Frederick Baptist Church. She was a member of the Gladetowne Homemakers Club, she enjoyed going to yard sales and having yard sales. Along with her daughter they set up and attended craft shows with Longaberger basket's and Boyd Bears. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Dennis L. Warner and wife Sharon, of Frederick, Vicki D. Warner, of Thurmont, and Robin A. Myers and husband William, of Frederick, step daughter, Tish Frederick, of Thurmont, daughter-in-law, Loretta Kolb, of New Windsor, and three brothers, Thomas Doody and wife Rita and Ronald Doody and wife Carole, all of Frederick, and Nathan Doody, of Hagerstown, four grandchildren, Vince Kolb, of Frederick, Faith Kolb, of New Windsor, Jessica Gross, of Thurmont and Coltin Yingling, of New Windsor, and many nieces and nephews. She will also be remembered by many friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Chris Kolb and a grandson, Max Frederick. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., on Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 2, 2013, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Rev. Katie Penick, pastor of Faith United Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
