Frances B. Crockett

December 2, 1921 — March 4, 2013

Mrs. Frances Hartman Harrison Crockett, age 91 formerly of Ijamsville, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Northampton Manor Health Care, Frederick. She was the wife of the late Douglas Crockett who passed away in 1993. Frances was born on December 2, 1921 in Frederick County. She was the daughter of the late Joseph V. and Mary Grace Hartman. She loved reading her Bible, refinishing furniture, and was an outstanding cook and baker. She is survived by her children, Gary Harrison and wife Kay of Scenery Hill, PA and Judith Harrison Delauter and husband Richard of Frederick; grandchildren Eric Delauter and wife Tammy of Kings Mountain, NC, Gary Douglas and Stephen Tyler of PA; great-granddaughter Madison Delauter of NC. She is also survived by sisters Gertrude Wumkes of Flint Michigan and Adelaide Becraft of Frederick as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral services, on Friday, March, 8, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM with services starting at 11 AM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick. Rev. Franklin Bishop will officiate. The interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Memorial Contributions may be made in Mrs. Crockett's name to Ijamsville United Methodist Church, 4746 Mussetter Rd., Ijamsville, MD 21754.
