Mrs. Mary Louise (Groshon) Ketterman, age 87, of Frederick, MD died on Tuesday March 5, 2013 at The Golden Living Center in Frederick. Born on August 10, 1925 in Frederick, she was the wife of the late George "Pete" Ketterman and the daughter of the late Meredith "Mert" and Annie "Sid" Groshon. Mrs. Ketterman worked as a press operator at Frederick Tailoring Co. and was a bus driver for The Francis Scott Key Center. She and her late husband owned G&M Janitorial Service. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and The Thurmont America Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are her children Barbara Ellen Wilson of Hagerstown and Shirley Ann Wilson and husband Donald of Mt. Airy, daughter-in-law Kathy Ketterman of Myersville, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, George "Ray" Ketterman, JR; Brother, William Crummitt; Sisters, Harriet "Sis" Burns and Caroline "Libby" Kline, and son in law William Wilson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff at the Golden Living Center, Frederick. Friends will be received on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2 PM. The interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
