Patsy Clark Grimes

October 22, 1947 — March 3, 2013

Mrs. Patsy Ann Clark Grimes, 65, of Frederick, died on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Richard W. "Dick" Grimes. Born in Mt. Airy on October 22, 1947, she was the loving daughter of the late Norman W. and Goldie "Dot" Jones Clark. Patsy was educated at the Visitation Academy until 1961, then she was a graduate of St. John's at Prospect Hall, class of 1965. She received an AA degree in Nursing in 1969 with the first class to graduate from Frederick Community College Nursing Program. She had a long career in nursing and was the director of nursing for several local health care facilities in Frederick. She was a member of many long term care and nursing association's locally and state wide. Patsy was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. Patsy was the last of her immediate family. She will be remembered by many friends who loved her very much. Funeral services and interment were private in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 5 East Main Street, Burkittsville. Pastor Kimberly Nunberg, will officiate. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Pails Lutheran Church, P.
