Mr. Robert L. "Bob" Sheckles, 74, of Frederick, died March 25, 2013, at Northampton Manor, Frederick. He was the son of the late Robert W. and Eleanor M. (Kemp) Sheckles. Born January 11, 1939, in Frederick. He was a brick mason most of his life in the family business Robert W. Sheckles Inc. He was a member of St. Timothys Episcopal Church, life member of Independent Hose Co. #1, Citizens Truck Co. #4 and AMVETS #2. He is survived by his three sisters, Irene Cole and husband Louis III, Margaret Main and husband Harry Jr. and Nancy Cole, one brother, James Sheckles and wife Monica, many nieces, nephews and former wife and friend, Kay Huffer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Mae Sheckles. Arrangements are being made by Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick.
