Mrs. Mary Belle Setters, 88, of Jefferson, died on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born in Jefferson on September 23, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Charlotte Stockman Droneburg. Before her retirement, Mrs. Setters was employed by the Frederick Memorial Hospital for 22 years. She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Jefferson. She served as the church secretary for 42 years, also in her earlier years, she was an active choir member and taught a kindergarten class in Sunday School. She was an avid quilter, loved gardening and enjoyed playing the piano. Surviving are two daughters, Susan L. Leatherman and husband Edwin, of Waynesboro, PA, and Julie A. Duncan and husband Kent Carter, of Charles Town, W. VA, seven grandchildren, Kathy Hess and husband Tony, Laura Michalsky and husband Michael, Kelly DeGroff, Emily Leatherman, Wayne Duncan, Wesley Duncan and Chloe Divel and husband Bryan, 10 great grandchildren and one nephew, John Droneburg. She was preceded in death by one son, Wesley Setters, and one brother, John Droneburg, Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 30, 2013, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Katrina L. Holland, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the St. Luke's Cemetery, Feagaville. Pallbearers will be; Kent Carter, John Murray, Wesley Duncan, Dick Ingram and John Droneburg.
