Mrs. Mabel Irene Cutsail Browning, age 96 of Frederick, went home to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the Golden Living Center, Frederick. She was predeceased by her husbands, Lawrence Sylvester Cutsail, Sr., and Harry Wright Browning. Born on July 14, 1916 in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Dawson and Betty Irene (Moser) Miller. Mrs. Browning was a member of the Jeffersonian Patriotic Club, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and was a member of the Frederick Moose #371 Auxiliary. In recent years, she attended the Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ with her daughter. She worked for 21 years at Sagnar's Tailoring and spent many hours working on the family farm. In her free time she enjoyed Bingo, Bowling, and playing the slot machines in Charles Town. Before entering Golden Living, she loved attending Daybreak Adult Day Services where she enjoyed the activities and games. She was known as the Queen of the Dominos. Mrs. Browning was the loving mother of: Lawrence S. Cutsail, Jr. and late wife Connie of Middletown, George E. Cutsail, Sr. and wife Thelma of Haines City, Florida, Charles W. Cutsail and wife Wanda of Frederick, Annabelle L. Crutchley of Frederick, (daughter-in-law) Barbara Cutsail, Lewis H. Cutsail and wife Linda of New Market, Libby Hallam and husband Wayne of Florida, and Jane Hough and husband Leroy of West Virginia. She is survived by her 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 children, Isabelle Cutsail and Robert L. Cutsail, Sr. and several brothers and sisters. She also loved her 2 Yorkshire Terriers Nikki & Queenie, and will be remembered by her special friends at bingo. Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 7 to 9 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 1 PM. Rev. Dr. Barbara Kershner Daniel will officiate. The interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Browning's name to the charity of your choice.
