Mr. Carroll Milton "Bob" Ausherman, Jr., 80, of Frederick, died on Friday, April 12, 2013, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of Sally Gross Ausherman. They were married on July 6, 1963. Born in Adamstown on March 1, 1933, he was a son of the late Carroll Milton, Sr., and Margaret Sanbower Ausherman. Mr. Ausherman proudly served his country in the United States Army and for many years worked as a carpenter for Sanbower Builders. He loved gardening, watching birds and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Kim S. Johnson and husband Don, of Frederick, and Teresa L. Lahaza and husband A. Kenneth, of Chambersburg, PA, one grandson, Justin M. Lahaza and wife Jess and two great grandsons, Noah and Issiah Lahaza, also surviving are brother-in-laws, Paul Frederick, Paul Lippy, Austin Gross and wife Sylvia and sister-in-law, Patsy Main and husband Bud, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Ausherman and his wife Barbara, Paul Ausherman and two sisters, Shirley Lippy and Libby Frederick. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., on Monday, April 15, 2013, at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Tim Sheridan, his nephew, will officiate.
