Robert Boehmer

Mr. Robert Lowell "Bob" Boehmer, 59, of Frederick, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of Dolores Anne (Klak) Boehmer. Born on March 1, 1954, in Ashland, PA, he was the son of Shirley J. (Newton) Boehmer and the late Robert W. Boehmer. Bob was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Frederick. He worked for the Computer Sciences Corporation in Sterling, VA, for 11 years. He was an avid golfer, runner, hunter, and fisherman. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by sons, Jeffrey Boehmer and his partner Andrew, and Jonathan Boehmer and his wife Kristine, sister, Cynthia Meyers and her husband John, numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, May 3, 2013, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, 31 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. Rev. Dr. Robert Driver-Bishop and Rev. Terri Driver-Bishop will officiate. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 3803 N. Fairfax Dr., Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22203.
