Mildred E. Fisher Wineke (Millie), age 86, of Port Orange, FL, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Fred Wineke Jr. She was born May 10, 1927, in Frederick, MD, the daughter of the late Oscar Daniel Fisher and Pearl Edna Burkett Fisher. She was a courteous and feisty lady who enjoyed gardening, bowling, and football. She is also survived by daughters Chris Clark of Emerald Isle, NC, and Terry Ford and husband Greg of Clemmons, NC, grandsons Brian Clark of Raleigh, NC, Jeffrey Clark and wife Susan of Misawa, Japan, Mark Ford and wife Melinda of Clemmons, NC, great granddaughter Emma Ford. She will also be remembered by a sister, five brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by daughter Jean Gruver, grandson Matthew Ford, son-in-law Cary Clark, and sister Anna Mae Miller. Funeral arrangements have been made by Keeney & Basford Funeral Home 106 E. Church St. Frederick, MD 21701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on June 6, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 116 E. 2nd St. Frederick, MD 21701 at 11 AM. Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 AM just prior to the Mass time. Father Stephen Gosnell will officiate. Internment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD.
