Charles "Chuck" Frederick Eyler II, 56, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at home with his loving wife Patty by his side. Born October 29, 1956 in Frederick, Maryland, he was the some of the late Roger C. and Sara A. Eyler. Chuck graduated from Gov. Thomas Johnson High School, class of 1974. He grew up in Clover Hill where he made many friends and childhood memories. He attended Brook Hill United Methodist Church while living in Frederick. Chuck worked for many years as a project manager and construction estimator for many companies. He enjoyed playing golf, softball and time spent with family and friends. He liked all sports but enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Orioles. To carry on his memory, he leaves behind his devoted and caring wife Patricia Eyler, sons Charles (Chad) Frederick Eyler III wife Sarah and grandson Charles (Charlie) Frederick Eyler IV of Poughkeepsie, NY, Christopher Dean Eyler of South Carolina, brother and sisters M. Kathleen Eyler-Sherwood of Hagerstown, MD, Steven G. Eyler wife Stacy of Myersville, MD, Pamela A. Frailey husband Doug of Frederick, MD, step-children Amy Albrecht and husband Tracy of Hanover, PA, Tiffany Benzel of York Springs, PA and four wonderful step-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Brookhill United Methodist Church, 8946 Indian Springs Road, Frederick, MD 21702. Reverend Ken Walker will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Chuck's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311. Arrangements are by Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, Frederick, Maryland.
