Mrs. Annabelle L. Kemp, 87, of Frederick, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Frederick. She was the wife of the late Milton E. Kemp, Jr. Born on May 23, 1926, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and Mary Catherine (Finneyfrock) Lantz, Sr. Mrs. Kemp was a graduate of Frederick High School Class of 1943. She was homemaker for many years that enjoyed watching football, reading and playing cards with her family. Most importantly, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son, Arna Davis Kemp, Sr. and wife Alma, daughter, Barbara Jean Hahn and husband John, grandsons, Kevin L. Hahn and wife Crystal and Arna D. Kemp, Jr., granddaughters, Melissa A. Hahn, Teresa L. Kilby and husband Todd and Stacie R. Bloom and husband Kevin, great-grandchildren, Stephenie Woolterton, Nicholas Bloom and Daniel Bloom, great-great grandson, James Woolterton, brother, Clarence W. Lantz, Jr. and wife Frances, daughter-in-law, Thais L. Kemp, sister-in-laws, Hilda Brightwell, Geraldine Young and Mary Wood, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Milton E. Kemp, III, brother, Charles E. Lantz and wife Jean and sister-in-law, Lois J. Miller. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, on Friday, June 7, 2013, at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday, June 8, 2013, in the Etchison Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
