Betty Ball

June 3, 1927 — July 11, 2013

Mrs. Betty Lee Parrott Ball, 86, of Frederick, died on July 11, 2013 at Citizen's Care and Rehabilitation Center, Frederick. Born on June 3, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Dale Arnold Parrott and Rebecca Jean Gilmartin. Mrs. Ball was a Ward Clerk at Fairfax Hospital. She lived for many years at Montevue Home with her "adopted family" before moving into Citizens in 2003. Betty is survived by children Dale A. Ball and wife Bonnie, Deborah J. Brubaker and husband Paul and Laurie Winpigler and husband Billy as well as grandchildren Sherry Lynn Adams, Kathleen Able, Christina Bonner, Jason P. Brubaker, Rebecca Lee Winpigler, Katie Jo Winpigler and Amy Daniel Winpigler. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, sister June Robnett and husband Charles as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ball was preceded in death by her parents as well as her grandson Dale A. Ball, Jr, daughter Rebecca J. Ball and sisters Margaret Johnson and Rebecca J. Noland. Friends will be received on Sunday, July 14 from 4:30 to 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 7040 Bowers Road, Frederick, MD 21702. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church. Those attending are welcome to remain for a reception held following the memorial service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
