Pauline Tinney Danner

September 3, 1916 — July 16, 2013

Mrs. Pauline T. Danner, "Polly", 96, of Frederick, died on July 16 at Homewood at Crumland Farms. She was the wife of the late Robert K. Danner. Born on September 3, 1916, she was the daughter of the late James P. Tinney and Anne E. Shelton. Mrs. Danner is the last of her 10 immediate siblings. She was a life member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church In Frederick. Polly was an administrative assistant at Rock Creek School, formerly Harmony Grove School for 15 years until her retirement in 1978. Mrs. Danner also found employment as a hairdresser for 20 years and at the Frederick News-Post for 5 years. Mrs. Danner leaves behind many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings Benjamin Tinney, James Tinney, Jr., Kenneth Tinney, Ann Didway, Mabel Fox, Emily Darby, Margaret Fisher, Sally Thomas, Betty Wagner and Kitty Alexander. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 20, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the FSK Chapel at Mount Olivet Cemetery, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM. A procession will follow through the cemetery to the interment site in Mount Olivet.
