Lucy M. Tripaldi

Mrs. Lucy M. Tripaldi, 89, of Frederick and formerly of New York, died on Friday, July 19, 2013, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph A. Tripaldi. Born on July 30, 1923, in New Haven, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Sophie Genanoto Rio. Mrs. Tripalldi was a landlord in New York and also was a homemaker who loved to cook and bake, and share her goods with family and friends. Surviving her are two children; Daniel A. Tripaldi and wife Jeanne, of Naples, FL and daughter, Diane Bocchino and husband Vincent, of Frederick, one brother, Louis Rio and wife Olga, of Ocala, FL, two grandchildren, Daniel J. R. Tripaldi and wife Cathy and Paul A. Tripaldi and wife Tina, four great grandsons; Daniel, Marco, Vincent and Zachary Tripaldi, and several nieces and nephews. Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at the Keeney and Basfordf Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Deacon John L. Manley, will officiate. Private interment will be at a later date in the St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, New York.
