Mrs. Dorothy Evelyn Costigan, "Dottie", 81, of Frederick, died on July 24 at Montevue Home. Born on January 8, 1932 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Merhl Perkins and Margaret Harris Perkins. Dorothy worked as a miller at American Optical. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God, Walkersville. Mrs. Costigan enjoyed watching golf and taking part in Bingo at Montevue Home, where she resided for nearly 2 years. Most of all, she had a great love for her entire family and spending time with them as much as possible. Mrs. Costigan is survived by her children Sharon Taylor and husband Roy of Bunker Hill, WV and Sam Myers and wife Rose of Cascade, MD; grandchildren Buffy Taylor-Wink and husband Matthew, Teresa Taylor, David Taylor and wife Kim and Patrick Nagle; great grandchildren Endora Taylor, T.J. Vance, Josiah Wink and Elias Wink as well as great-great granddaughter Sharon Rose Taylor. She is also survived by siblings Bill Perkins and wife Ann and Jane Wetzel as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including very special niece Wanda. Mrs. Costigan will be missed by church friends Jody Savage and Janet Wilburn. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Sam Myers, an infant son Richard Clark Myers and siblings Harold "Sam" Perkins, Marie "Beck" White, Merhl "Doc" Perkins, Edna Weddle, John Perkins, Eva Bartgis and Mary Heffner. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 28 from 5-7 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 29 at 11:00 AM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick
