Judith Gail Boswell

Mrs. Judith Gail Boswell, age 63 of Frederick, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Copper Ridge Nursing Home, Sykesville. Born on April 17, 1950 in Wise County, VA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Joyce Bostic. Mrs. Boswell was a very energetic person. She was a wonderful mother and sister who had many friends, who loved life, and was loved by many. She was the mother of: Douglas Showe and wife Asonia of Hagerstown, Tammy Boswell of Foxborough, MA, and Sean Boswell and wife Christine of Mansfield, MA; the grandmother of Reyna Thomas, Jake Littlefield, Brittany LaVoie, Sean Boswell, Jr. and Raven Boswell; the great-grandmother of Lexii Thomas; the sister of Charlotte Ringley, Joseph Bostic, Carolyn Andrews, Patsy McKenzie, and Eric Bostic. Friends will be received on Monday, August 26, 2013 from 1 PM until service time at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will begin at 2 PM in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Tim Leaman will officiate. The interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Boswell's name to Johns Hopkins University, Care of the fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, 100 N. Charles St., Suite 436, Baltimore, MD 21201. Please include a note indicating the funds to be used for Alzheimer's research.
