Mrs. M. Louise (Barnhouse) Hartman, age 90 of Culpeper, VA passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Culpeper Regional Hospital. Mrs. Hartman was a longtime resident of Frederick and was the wife of the late Charles J. Hartman who passed away in 1994. She was born on February 15, 1923 in Point of Rocks, and was the daughter of the late Franklin H. and Emma M. (Shuff) Barnhouse. Mrs. Hartman was a 1941 graduate of Frederick High School. She was a full time homemaker, an excellent cook and had a wonderful since of humor. Mrs. Hartman loved and is loved dearly by her family. Mrs. Hartman is survived by a son Charles "Jack" Hartman and wife Pat of Frederick, a daughter Patti Randall and husband Keith of Culpeper, VA, her grandchildren, Charles Hartman II and wife Sarah of Crozet, VA, Kristen Fairman and husband Adam of Frederick, Christopher Randall and Stephen Randall of Culpeper, VA, and her great-grandchildren Thomas and Abigail Hartman. She was preceded in death by her siblings Alice Hightman, Maurice Barnhouse, Mildred Gubernick, James Barnhouse, and Clara Davis. Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 10 AM. Pastor Edward Hartman will officiate. Flowers are welcome, however, contributions may be made in Mrs. Hartman's name to the charity of your choice. The interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
