Mrs. Elva "Jeanie" Shaw, age 72 of Frederick, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the University of Maryland Hospital. She was the devoted wife for 54 years of Donald L. Shaw. Born on April 10, 1941 in Frederick she was the daughter of the late Charles and Adeline Cramer. Mrs. Shaw was employed at Frederick Electronics for close to 30 years and at Marsh McBirney Inc. for roughly 10 years. In her retirement she enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardens. Most of all she loved her home and her family, spending a lot of time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Shaw was the loving mother of Debra Lashbaugh and husband Matthew of Frederick, the grandmother of Lisa Lucas of Thurmont, Lori Purdum and companion Donald Baugher of Frederick, and Amber Lashbaugh of Bethesda, the great-grandmother of Kendra, Ryan, Aubri, and Brady. She is also survived by her sister Rosemary Gruden and her late husband Joseph of Frederick, and her brothers Charles P. Cramer and late wife Carole, of WV and James W. Cramer and wife LaVerna of Fl. Friends will be received on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick where services will be held in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2 PM. Bishop Jerry Price will officiate. The interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
